4 latest hospital, health system executive resignations

Becker's Hospital Review reported on the following recent hospital and health system executive resignations.

They are listed below, in alphabetical order.

1. Lee Goldman, MD, chief executive of New York City-based Columbia University Irving Medical Center, will leave the role after 14 years, effective June 30, 2020.

2. Charles Gressle, CEO of Medical City Plano (Texas) and Medical City Frisco (Texas), is leaving the role, effective May 31.

3. Sherry Perkins, PhD, RN, president and CEO of Cheverly-based University of Maryland Capital Region Health, resigned May 24 to take another job.

4. Ryan Smith, CEO of Memorial Hospital of Converse County in Douglas, Wyo., is resigning at the end of the summer for a new job opportunity.
