1. Palm Beach Gardens (Fla.) Medical Center, part of Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare, hired Trey Abshier to serve as CEO.
2. St. David's North Austin (Texas) Medical Center appointed Becky Barnes COO, effective May 21.
3. Clearwater, Fla.-based BayCare Health System appointed Ronald J. Beamon CFO of its hospital division.
4. Marilyn Bowcutt, RN, executive vice president/COO of Augusta, Ga.-based University Health Care System and president of University Hospital in Augusta, is retiring.
5. MountainView Regional Medical Center in Las Cruces, N.M., selected Derrick Cuenca to serve as CEO.
6. Houston-based Memorial Hermann Health System appointed Brian Dean executive vice president and systemwide CFO.
7. Jersey City, N.J.-based CarePoint Health, a three-hospital system, hired Natasha Deckmann, MD, to serve as CEO.
8. CHI Health St. Mary's in Nebraska City, Neb., appointed Daniel DeFreece, MD, interim president.
9. Cape Regional Health System in Cape May Court House, N.J., selected Rosemary Dunn, DrNP, RN, to serve as chief nursing officer.
10. St. Francis Hospital in Columbus, Ga., appointed Alan E. George COO.
11. Louis Giancola, president and CEO of Wakefield, R.I.-based South County Health, is retiring.
12. Brian Gill is the new chief administrative officer at Saint Thomas Stones River Hospital in Woodbury, Tenn.
13. Greg Haralson is stepping into the senior vice president and CEO roles at Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center in Houston.
14. Worcester, Mass.-based UMass Memorial Health Care appointed Michael Gustafson, MD, president of UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester, effective Sept. 1.
15. Rocky Mount, N.C.-based Nash UNC Health Care selected Shawn Hartley to serve as CFO, effective in July.
16. University of Iowa Health Care in Iowa City appointed Bradley Haws associate vice president and CFO, effective Aug. 20.
17. Indianapolis-based Indiana University Health selected Dave Hyatt to serve as critical access hospital president in its East Central Region.
18. Alliance (Ohio) Community Hospital CEO Stan Jonas is retiring at the end of June.
19. Richland, Wash.-based Kadlec health system selected Reza Kaleel to serve as its new CEO, effective in January 2019.
20. Loma Linda (Calif.) University Health tapped Angela Lalas to serve as CFO.
21. Louisville, Ky.-based Norton Healthcare hired Gladys Lopez to serve as senior vice president and chief human resources officer, effective in June.
22. McLaren Oakland in Pontiac, Mich., a 338-bed medical center, appointed Lynn Marcotte CFO.

27. William L. Roper, MD, CEO of Chapel Hill, N.C.-based UNC Health Care and dean of the UNC School of Medicine, will retire May 15, 2019.

29. Fond du Lac, Wis.-based Agnesian HealthCare named Tami Schattschneider, BSN, vice president of patient services and chief nursing officer at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac.
