1. Edinburg-based South Texas Health System appointed Lance Ames permanent CEO of South Texas Health System Edinburg and South Texas Health System Children's in Edinburg.
2. Grand Rapids, Mich.-based Mercy Health tapped David Baumgartner, MD, to serve as interim president of Mercy Health Saint Mary's in Grand Rapids, effective Oct. 22.
3. New Hyde Park, N.Y.-based Northwell Health appointed Gerard Brogan Jr., MD, senior vice president and chief revenue officer Oct. 3.
4. Conway (Ark.) Regional Health System tapped Troy Brooks to serve as CFO.
5. Beverly Capasso, RN, president and CEO of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based Broward Health, resigned.
6. Rochester, N.H.-based Frisbie Memorial Hospital appointed Jocelyn Caple, MD, its permanent president and CEO.
7. Dayton, Ohio-based Kettering Health Network appointed Ron Connovich president of Fort Hamilton (Ohio) Hospital.
8. Kosciusko Community Hospital in Warsaw, Ind., selected Jae Dale to serve as CEO, effective Oct. 15.
9. Butler (Pa.) Health System selected Michael Deitschmann to serve as CFO, effective Oct. 1.
10. Burlington, Mass.-based Wellforce CEO Norm Deschene is retiring at the end of 2018.
11. Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital in Grass Valley, Calif., appointed Brian Evans, MD, president and CEO, effective Dec. 2.
12. Shreveport, La.-based Allegiance Health Management selected Kevin Frank to serve as CEO of Acadian Medical Center in Eunice, La.
13. Opelika-based East Alabama Medical Center hired Laura Grill, RN, to serve as president and CEO.
14. Brian Grissler, president and CEO Stamford (Conn.) Hospital, retired Sept. 30.
15. Butler Health System hired Hillary Harlan, BSN, to serve as chief compliance officer.
16. Emerson Hospital in Concord, Mass., tapped Barrett Kitch, MD, to serve as senior vice president of clinical affairs and CMO.
17. Charles Lucore, MD, president and CEO of HSHS St. John's Hospital in Springfield, Ill., is resigning Oct. 31.
18. Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union County in New Albany, Miss., selected H.F. Mason, MD, to serve as CMO.
19. Florida Hospital New Smyrna, based in New Smyrna Beach, CEO Ken Mattison plans to retire, effective Dec. 2.

27. Williamson (W.Va.) Memorial Hospital tapped Loretta Simon, BSN, to serve as chief nursing officer.

29. Lynchburg, Va.-based Centra Health CEO, E.W. Tibbs Jr., resigned, ending his five-year tenure.
30. JoDee Tittle, CEO of Southern Coos Hospital & Health Center in Bandon, Ore., is resigning, effective Nov. 16.
31. Burlington, Mass.-based Wellforce selected Michael Wagner, MD, to serve as interim CEO, beginning Jan. 1, 2019.
32. Woodville, Texas-based Tyler County Hospital CEO Sandra Wright, RN, EdD, retired.
33. David M. Zechman, president and CEO of McLaren Northern Michigan in Petoskey, plans to retire at the end of 2018.
