3 leadership changes from Mass General Brigham

Boston-based Mass General Brigham has made three leadership changes within its enterprise, the health system shared with Becker's

David Roberts, MD, was named senior vice president of community operations for Mass General Brigham. He has spent the past six years as president of the health system's Salem (Mass.) Hospital. Dr. Roberts, a cardiologist, previously served as the hospital's chief of cardiology and chair of medicine. 

Roxanne Ruppel will succeed Dr. Roberts as Salem Hospital's next president. She has served the hospital for more than 20 years, most recently as senior vice president of operations. 

Finally, Ellen Moloney was named president and chief operating officer of Newton-Wellesley Hospital in Newton, Mass. She has served as COO for eight years, and will now hold a dual title as the hospital's first female president. 

All three leadership changes are effective March 1.
