1. Boise, Idaho-based Saint Alphonsus Health System selected Odette Bolano to serve as president and CEO.
2. Swedish Medical Center in Englewood, Colo., hired Monique Butler, MD, to serve as CMO.
3. Jim Dietsche, executive vice president and CFO of Green Bay, Wis.-based Bellin Health, will also serve as its COO, under a new service delivery structure.
4. Colorado Springs, Colo.-based Penrose-St. Francis Health Services named Brian Erling, MD, permanent CEO.
5. Michael Fisher, president and CEO of Cincinnati Children's, is returning to the role next month after a leave of absence for cancer treatment.
6. Rady Children's Hospital-San Diego selected Patricio A. Frias, MD, to serve as president and CEO.
7. Ontario, Calif.-based Prime Healthcare selected Saju George to serve as regional CEO, overseeing two Michigan-based hospitals.
8. Massena (N.Y.) Memorial Hospital hired Charles Gijanto to serve as interim CEO.
9. Providence, R.I.-based Care New England appointed Paari Gopalakrishnan, MD, to the CMO role at Kent Hospital in Warwick, R.I.
10. Iowa City-based University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics named Suresh Gunasekaran CEO, effective Nov. 15.
11. Wyoming, Mich.-based Metro Health-University of Michigan Health selected Peter Hahn, MD, to serve as its president and CEO, effective Oct. 1.
12. Evergreen Park, Ill.-based Little Company of Mary Hospital and Health Care Centers appointed John P. Hanlon, MD, president and CEO.
13. Downers Grove, Ill.-based Advocate Aurora Health named Rashard Johnson president of Advocate South Suburban Hospital in Hazel Crest, Ill., and Advocate Trinity Hospital in Chicago, effective Sept. 24.
14. Fred Kniffin, MD, president of UVM Health Network's Porter Medical Center in Middlebury, Vt., is resigning, effective in spring 2019.
15. Birmingham, Ala.-based Brookwood Baptist Health named Daniel Listi CEO of Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster, Ala., effective Aug. 20.
16. Manitowoc, Wis.-based Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity Sponsored Ministries selected Scott McConnaha to serve as permanent president and CEO.
17. Grant Memorial Hospital in Petersburg, W.Va., selected Robert W. Milvet to serve as CEO.
18. York, Pa.-based WellSpan Health President and CEO Kevin H. Mosser, MD, plans to retire at the end of 2018.
19. Randall L. O'Donnell, PhD, president and CEO of Children's Mercy Kansas City (Mo.), is retiring sooner than expected, stating that he has been "having some health challenges."
20. Gene O'Hara, PharmD, CEO of Colorado Plains Medical Center in Ft. Morgan, is retiring.
21. Allina Health named Ann Madden Rice president of Abbott Northwestern Hospital. Both entities are based in Minneapolis.
22. Art Ushijima, president and CEO of The Queen's Health Systems in Honolulu, Hawaii, will retire in January 2020.
23. Vincennes, Ind.-based Good Samaritan, a community healthcare facility, selected Molly Weiss, MD, as its CMO.
