1. Guttenberg (Iowa) Municipal Hospital and Clinics selected Tim Ahlers to serve as CEO.
2. Toledo, Ohio-based ProMedica selected Steve Cavanaugh to serve as CFO, effective June 3.
3. John F. Collins, president and CEO of NYU Winthrop Hospital in Mineola, N.Y., plans to retire, effective Nov. 30.
4. Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare tapped Mitch Edgeworth to serve as chief administrative officer of the southern region of its Brentwood, Tenn.-based TriStar Division.
5. Orlando (Fla.) Health Dr. P. Phillips Hospital hired Kelly Edmondson, RN, to serve as assistant vice president and chief nursing officer, effective May 13.
6. UNC Lenoir Health Care in Kinston, N.C., selected Robert A. Enders, Jr., to serve as CEO, effective in mid-April.
7. Peoria, Ill.-based OSF HealthCare tapped Carol Friesen as CEO of its northern region.
8. Charles Gressle, CEO of Medical City Plano (Texas) and Medical City Frisco (Texas), is leaving the role, effective May 31.
9. Fremont, Calif.-based Washington Hospital Healthcare System named Kimberly Hartz CEO.
10. Morristown, N.J.-based Atlantic Health System appointed Armond Kinsey chief diversity officer in a May 13 announcement.
11. Hocking Valley Community Hospital named Beth Kluding, BSN, RN, chief nursing officer, effective in April.
12. St. David's South Austin (Texas) Medical Center named Charles Laird CEO, effective May 1.
13. Southern Hills Hospital & Medical Center in Las Vegas appointed Alexis Mussi its first female CEO, effective May 16.
14. Placerville, Calif.-based Marshall Medical Center tapped Siri Nelson to serve as CEO.
15. Atlanta-based Piedmont Healthcare named Stephen Porter CEO of Piedmont Fayette Hospital in Fayetteville, Ga., effective June 24.
16. Peggy Schmitt, BSN, RN, president and CEO of North Kansas City (Mo.) Hospital and its subsidiary Meritas Health, is retiring at the end of the year after 25 years of service.
17. University of Chicago Medicine appointed Brian Sinotte president of its Community Health and Hospital Division and of Ingalls Memorial Hospital in Harvey, Ill., effective July 1.
18. Ryan Smith, CEO of Memorial Hospital of Converse County in Douglas, Wyo., is resigning at the end of the summer for a new job opportunity.
19. Julie Sprengel was named leader of the new Southwest Division of Chicago-based CommonSpirit Health.
20. Southern Virginia Regional Medical Center in Emporia, Va., named Susan Williams CNO.
