2 Carle Health System execs step down

Urbana, Ill.-based Carle Health COO, John Snyder, and Chief Strategy Officer Stephanie Beever have resigned, effective June 7, according to The News-Gazette.

A Carle spokeswoman told The News-Gazette, that the organization does not provide details about executive departures "out of respect for any individual's privacy."

Mr. Snyder, who is also CEO of Carle's Health Alliance Medical Plans, served in several leadership roles at the organization, influencing "many aspects of the health system's operations, including the integration between Carle Clinic Association and Carle Foundation," a news release obtained by The News-Gazette stated.

During her tenure, Ms. Beever spurred the creation of the Rural Alliance for Exceptional Care and drove regional health system partnerships.

Interim leaders include Carle CFO Dennis Hesch, who will take over Health Alliance Medical Plans and Carle's strategy division; Chief Administrative Officer Matt Kolb, who will oversee clinic and hospital operations; and CMO Charles Dennis, MD, who will oversee clinical care and population health integration.

Mr. Snyder's and Ms. Beever's departures come a few months after Matthew Gibb, MD, Carle's former executive vice president and CMO stepped down.
