1. MemorialCare Miller Children's & Women's Hospital Long Beach (Calif.) appointed Graham Tse, MD, associate CMO.
2. Delray Medical Center in Delray Beach, Fla., selected Teresa C. Urquhart to serve as COO.
3. Victoria, Texas-based DeTar Healthcare System named Gary Malaer CEO, effective, Jan. 2.
4. Julian Craig, MD, the CMO of Washington, D.C.-based United Medical Center, was fired after accusing the firm managing the hospital of misconduct last month.
5. Mount Vernon, Wash.-based Skagit Regional Health tapped Paul Ishizuka to serve as interim CFO.
6. TriStar Summit Medical Center in Hermitage, Tenn., named Kevin M. Hamilton, MD, its first-ever CMO.
7. Ascension's Saint Thomas Health, based in Nashville, Tenn., announced the following executive promotions, effective Jan. 1, 2018:
• Don King will take on the COO role at Ascension's St. Vincent's Health System in Birmingham, Ala.
• Fahad Tahir will be promoted to president and CEO of Saint Thomas Midtown and West Hospitals, both in Nashville.
8. Ascension Crittenton Hospital in Rochester Hills, Mich., selected Chris Palazzolo to serve as president and CEO, effective Nov. 27.
9. Murray-Calloway County Hospital in Murray, Ky., appointed John Bradford CFO.
10. Jerry Fedele, president and CEO of Boca Raton (Fla.) Regional Hospital, is planning to retire in August 2018.
11. Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare named Mark Lisa Central Coast market CEO.
12. Chadron (Neb.) Community Hospital appointed Jessica Grote chief patient care officer.
13. Mount Vernon, Wash.-based Skagit Regional Health hired Brian Ivie as its new president and CEO.
14. Fairbanks (Alaska) Memorial Hospital and Denali Center selected Jim Lynch to lead as CEO.
15. Lutheran Health Network's Dupont Hospital in Fort Wayne, Ind., named Lorenzo Suter CEO, effective in December.
16. Saint Francis Hospital-Memphis (Tenn.) hired Jennifer Chiusano as its new chief nursing officer.
17. Jill Fuller, president and CEO of Watertown, S.D.-based Prairie Lakes Healthcare System, announced her intention to retire.
