1. Irving, Texas-based Medical City Healthcare named Miguel Benet, MD, CMO, effective March 1.
2. Orlando-based Florida Hospital tapped Dennis deLeon, MD, to serve as CMO of Florida Hospital Kissimmee, effective March 4.
3. Illinois Valley Community Hospital in Peru appointed Robert Fortney, BSN, MSN, chief nursing officer.
4. St. Joseph Mercy Oakland in Pontiac, Mich., selected Fabian Fregoli, MD, to serve as CMO.
5. Rocky Mount, N.C.-based Nash UNC Health Care's CMO Meera Kelley, MD, is leaving.
6. Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, Ind., selected Erin LaCross, MSN, RN, to serve as chief nursing officer.
7. Green Bay, Wis.-based Bellin Health selected Cynthia Lasecki, MD, to serve as CMO.
8. Sumner Regional Medical Center in Gallatin, Tenn., tapped Geoffrey Lifferth, MD, to serve as CMO.
9. Gary, Ind.-based Methodist Hospitals appointed Jim Renneker, MSN, RN, vice president and chief nursing officer.
10. Mercy Health-Cincinnati appointed Melissa Samuelson, MSN, DNP, RN, vice president and chief nursing officer of its East Market, which includes Anderson Hospital in Cincinnati and Clermont Hospital in Batavia, Ohio.
11. Salem, Ore.-based Willamette Valley Community Health appointed Jeanne Savage, MD, CMO.

13. Ballad Health, the new health system formed by the merger of Kingsport, Tenn.-based Wellmont Health System and Johnson City, Tenn.-based Mountain States Health Alliance, selected Lisa Smithgall to serve as chief nursing officer.
14. Eastside Medical Center in Snellville, Ga., named Tracey Smithson, BSN, MSN, chief nursing officer.
