They are listed below, in alphabetical order.
1. Denise Arola, CFO of Craig, Colo.-based Memorial Regional Health, plans to retire at the end of June.
2. Salem, Va.-based LewisGale Regional Health System CEO Brian Baumgardner retired, effective June 1.
3. Marilyn Bowcutt, RN, executive vice president/COO of Augusta, Ga.-based University Health Care System and president of University Hospital in Augusta, is retiring.
4. Danville, Ky.-based Ephraim McDowell Health President and CEO Sally Davenport, RN, is retiring at the end of June.
5. Louis Giancola, president and CEO of Wakefield, R.I.-based South County Health, is retiring.
6. Kurt Johnson, president of Ingalls Memorial Hospital in Harvey, Ill., is retiring, effective June 30.
7. Alliance (Ohio) Community Hospital CEO Stan Jonas is retiring at the end of June.
8. Charlotte Mather, chief nursing officer at Sheridan (Wyo.) Memorial Hospital, retired May 18.
9. Thomas D. Miller, CEO of Brentwood, Tenn.-based Quorum Health, a 28-hospital system, retired.
10. Evergreen Park, Ill.-based Little Company of Mary Hospital and Health Care Centers CEO Dennis Reilly will retire July 1.
11. William L. Roper, MD, CEO of UNC Health Care and dean of the UNC School of Medicine, both in Chapel Hill, will retire May 15, 2019.
12. Evergreen Park, Ill.-based Little Company of Mary Hospital and Health Care Centers CFO Randy Ruther will retire Sept. 30.
13. Joel Wernick, president and CEO of Albany, Ga.-based Phoebe Putney Health System, will retire in May 2019.
14. Steven West, president of Hartford City, Ind.-based IU Health Blackford Hospital, retired, effective June 10.
15. Flemington, N.J.-based Hunterdon Healthcare System President and CEO Robert P. Wise is retiring, effective June 30.
