1. Tri-Cities Community Health in Pasco, Wash., appointed Jim Davis CEO, effective in January 2018.
2. St. Louis-based BJC HealthCare named Richard Liekweg president and CEO, effective Jan. 1, 2018.
3. Kim Keene, interim CEO of St. Bernard Parish Hospital in Chalmette, La., will assume the post permanently Nov. 5.
4. UMC Health System in Lubbock, Texas, appointed Mark Funderburk president and CEO, effective Jan. 1, 2018.
5. Houston-based Cypress Fairbanks Medical Center selected Naman Mahajan to lead as permanent CEO, effective immediately.
6. New York Mayor Bill de Blasio nominated Mitchell Katz, MD, to serve as president and CEO of NYC Health + Hospitals, the largest public health system in the nation.
7. Franklin County Medical Center in Preston, Idaho, selected Darin Dransfield to serve as CEO, effective in mid-October.
8. Norwalk, Ohio-based Fisher-Titus Medical Center President and CEO Lorna Strayer is retiring in 2018.
9. Kahuku (Hawaii) Medical Center CEO Stephany Nihipali Vaioleti is departing in October.
10. East Orange (N.J.) General Hospital selected Paige Dworak to serve as permanent CEO.
11. University of New Mexico Hospital in Albuquerque appointed Michael Chicarelli, DNP, RN, interim CEO.
12. Grandview Medical Center in Birmingham, Ala., named Drew Mason CEO.
13. Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill, S.C., hired Mark Nosacka to lead as its new CEO, effective Oct. 16.
