Becker's Hospital Review reported the following hospital and health system CEO moves in the last week.
They are listed below, in alphabetical order.
1. Fort Madison (Iowa) Community Hospital dropped the 'interim' from President and CEO Jeremy Alexander's title.
2. Kennewick, Wash.-based Trios Health named Mark Armstrong interim CEO, effective Feb. 1.
3. Bret Barr stepped into the CEO role at Conway (S.C.) Medical Center.
4. St. Mary-Corwin Medical Center in Pueblo, Colo., appointed Mike Cafasso as permanent CEO.
5. Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based Broward Health's board of commissioners voted to make Beverly Capasso, the system's interim president and CEO, the permanent head of the system.
6. Eric Crowell, president and CEO of UnityPoint Health-Des Moines (Iowa), is retiring, effective July 1.
7. Cleveland Clinic selected Brian Donley, MD, to serve as CEO of Cleveland Clinic London, effective immediately.
8. Tyler, Texas-based East Texas Medical Center Regional Healthcare System President and CEO Elmer G. Ellis plans to retire, effective Feb. 28.
9. UnityPoint Health-Meriter in Madison, Wis., appointed Sue Erickson president and CEO, effective immediately.
10. Howard Federoff, MD, PhD, vice chancellor for health affairs at University of California, Irvine and CEO of the UCI Health System, resigned.
11. Bart Hove, the former CEO of Kingsport, Tenn.-based Wellmont Health System who was slated to serve as CEO of the merged Ballad Health organization, unexpectedly retired Feb. 1.
12. Rady Children's Hospital-San Diego President and CEO Donald Kearns, MD, announced plans to retire.
13. Capital Regional Medical Center in Tallahassee, Fla., tapped Alan Keesee to serve as CEO, effective March 1.
14. Bill Lawrence, president and CEO of McLaren Central Michigan in Mt. Pleasant, is retiring in April.
15. Cartersville (Ga.) Medical Center tapped J. Christopher Mosley to serve as CEO, effective March 1.
