15 latest hospital, health system CEO moves

Becker's Hospital Review reported the following hospital and health system CEO moves in the last week.

The moves are listed below, in alphabetical order.

1. Osceola (Wis.) Medical Center appointed Matthew Forge CEO.

2. HSHS St. Mary's Hospital in Decatur, Ill., appointed Michael Hicks president and CEO, effective April 1.

3. Partners HealthCare named Anne Klibanski, MD, interim CEO, effective Feb. 18.

4. Tri Valley Health System in Cambridge, Neb., named Keith Luedders interim CEO.

5. John McLain, CEO of Bayfront Health St. Petersburg (Fla.), resigned Feb. 13.

6. Russell (Kan.) Regional Hospital CEO Rob Nahmensen is no longer employed at the hospital.

7. Springhill (La.) Medical Center named Mike Patronis CEO.

8. Ronald A. Paulus, MD, president and CEO of Asheville, N.C.-based Mission Health, is leaving to take on a new role with Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare.

9. Mimbres Memorial Hospital in Deming, N.M., hired Gary Poquette to serve as CEO, effective Feb. 1.

10. Amita Health Adventist Medical Center Hinsdale (Ill.) President and CEO Steve Province suddenly resigned Feb. 14.

11. Logan (W.Va.) Regional Medical Center dropped 'interim' from CEO Simon Ratliff's title.

12. Springfield, Ill.-based Hospital Sisters Health System selected Kelly Sager, MSN, to serve as president and CEO of HSHS Holy Family Hospital in Greenville, Ill.

13. Cheyenne (Wyo.) Regional Health System appointed Timothy Thornell CEO, effective April 8.

14. Patrick Wardell, CEO of Cambridge (Mass.) Health Alliance, is planning to retire in July.

15. Hood Memorial Hospital in Amite City, La., selected Mike Whittington, BSN, MSN, to serve as CEO.
