13 recent hospital, health system CNO and CMO moves

Becker's Hospital Review reported the following hospital and health system chief nursing officer and CMO moves in the last four weeks.

They are listed below, alphabetized by executive.

1. Charleston, S.C.-based Trident Health selected Lee Biggs, MD, to serve as CMO.

2. Dalton, Ga.-based Hamilton Health Care System named Andrew C. Bland, MD, vice president and CMO.

3. Wheeling (W.Va.) Hospital named Michael Campsey, MD, CMO.

4. McDonough District Hospital in Macomb, Ill., appointed Edwin Card, MD, CMO, effective July 1.

5. Sutter Davis (Calif.) Hospital named Tamara Davis, RN, chief nurse executive.

6. Savannah, Ga.-based Memorial Health has appointed Todd Isbell chief nursing officer.

7. UH Samaritan Medical Center in Ashland, Ohio, has selected Timothy Kasprzak, MD, to serve as CMO.

8. Lebanon, N.H.-based Alice Peck Day Memorial Hospital appointed Michael T. Lynch, MD, as its new CMO, effective June 17.

9. Dennis Manley, chief nursing officer of Mercy Hospital Joplin (Mo.), is retiring July 26.

10. Olympic Medical Center in Port Angeles, Wash., has tapped Ralph Parker, RN, to serve as chief nursing officer.

11. Erie, Pa.-based Saint Vincent Hospital named Sallie Piazza chief nursing officer.

12. Kalispell (Mont.) Regional Healthcare named Ryan Pitts, RN, interim chief nursing officer.

13. South Boston, Va.-based Sentara Halifax Regional Hospital appointed Brian Zwoyer, DNP, RN, its new chief nurse executive.
