13 latest hospital, health system CNO and CMO moves

The following 13 hospital and health system CNO and CMO moves occurred or were announced in the last month, starting with the most recent.

1. Richmond, Va.-based HCA Virginia's Retreat Doctors' Hospital named Nancy Boykin as CNO.

2. Hospital Sisters Health System St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Belleville, Ill., appointed Elizabeth Govero as CNO.

3. Tammy Albright, BSN, the CNO of Greenville, Tenn.-based Takoma Regional Hospital, was promoted to president of the hospital.

4. Timothy Bode, MD, was named CMO of Murfreesboro, Tenn.-based Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital and four of Saint Thomas Health's regional hospitals.

5. Danville, Pa.-based Geisinger Health System chose Gerald Maloney, DO, to serve as CMO of Geisinger Hospitals, overseeing clinical programs at Geisinger's 12 hospital campuses.

6. Bear Valley Community Hospital in Big Bear Lake, Calif., appointed Kerri Jex, MSN, RN, as CNO.

7. Saint Anne's Hospital in Fall River, Mass., promoted Carole Billington, MSN, RN, from vice president of patient care services and CNO to become COO and CNO.

8. LRGHealthcare in Laconia, N.H., named Patti Strohla, RN, as CNO.

9. Karen Pasquin, MSN, RN, was tapped to become CNO of Cortez, Colo.-based Southwest Health System.

10. Tamara Jackson, DNP, will become vice president and CNO of Atlanta-based Piedmont Athens Regional on Jan. 3.

11. Lubbock, Texas-based Covenant Health named Brian D. Schroeder, MD, as CMO of Covenant Medical Center, as well as vice president for medical affairs at Covenant Women's and Children's, both located in Lubbock.

12. T.J. DeAngelis, RN, was named as CNO of Summa Health System-Barberton (Ohio) Campus.

13. James Duff, MD, was appointed CMO of Cox Medical Center Branson (Mo.).
