10 recent hospital and health system CNO, CMO moves

The following 10 hospital and health system CNO and CMO moves occurred or were announced since the beginning of the year, starting with the most recent.

1. Newton, Mass.-based Atrius Health appointed Joe Kimura, MD, as CMO.

2. Englewood (N.J.) Hospital and Medical Center named Mary Ann Donohue-Ryan, PhD, BSN, RN, as CNO.

3. Tallulah Holmstrom, MD, was named CMO of Carolina Pines Regional Medical Center in Hartsville, S.C., and Kershaw Health in Camden, S.C.

4. Worcester, Mass.-based Fallon Health named Thomas Ebert, MD, as executive vice president and CMO.

5. Nancy Keenan, MSN, RN, was appointed vice president and CNO of Houston Methodist Willowbrook Hospital.

6. Integrated Health Network of Wisconsin, based in Brookfield, named Ken Bertka, MD, as CMO.

7. Angela Igo, MSN, RN, became CNO of Marshall, Mo.-based Fitzgibbon Hospital Jan. 5.

8. Carolina Pines Regional Medical Center in Hartsville, S.C., part of Franklin, Tenn.-based Capella Healthcare, appointed Danny Wharton, RN, as CNO.

9. Vancouver, Wash.-based PeaceHealth named Mark Adams, MD, a board-certified

general and vascular surgeon, as CMO.

10. Bernard Boulanger, MD, CMO of Lexington-based University of Kentucky HealthCare, left to become executive vice president of Cleveland-based MetroHealth System. The University of Kentucky then hired Robert DiPaola, MD, as dean of the college of medicine.
