Mark Marsh became president and CEO of Gateway Medical Center in Clarksville, Tenn., on June 3.
"I look forward to working with the board, medical staff and employees at Gateway and especially to being a part of their work to provide compassionate care for residents of the Clarksville area," Mr. Marsh said upon his appointment at Gateway. "Gateway Medical Center is a vitally important resource for the local community. It's a real honor to join this hospital team."
Mr. Marsh has more than 12 years of healthcare executive leadership experience. Before joining Gateway, he served as CEO of Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green, Ky. During his time at Greenview, he helped expand service lines such as neurosurgery, general surgery and orthopedics. Greenview was named the top orthopedic hospital in southern Kentucky by Healthgrades three years in a row with Mr. Marsh at the helm.
Before serving as CEO at Greenview, Mr. Marsh was CEO of Marshall Medical Center in Lewisburg, Tenn.
Mr. Marsh earned a master's degree in healthcare administration from Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green.
