Children's Hospital & Medical Center in Omaha, Neb., has experienced strong operating performance and strengthening financial resources under the leadership of CFO and Senior Vice President Michael Brown.
Moody's Investors Service recently affirmed an "A2" rating for the hospital's revenue bonds and revised the outlook for Children's to positive based on very strong operating performance and improved balance sheet measures. In recent years, the hospital's financial resources have become considerably stronger, according to Moody's.
Before obtaining his current position, Mr. Brown was vice president of administrative and regulatory affairs for Children's. He holds a bachelor's degree in business administration with an emphasis on finance from the University of Nebraska in Lincoln and a master's degree in healthcare administration from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis.
He is also a certified public accountant and member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, the Healthcare Financial Management Association and the American Association of Certified Public Accountants.
