Carroll Hospital Center in Westminster, Md., has maintained a track record of good operating results with Kevin Kelbly serving as CFO and senior vice president of corporate and fiscal affairs.
Moody's Investors Service has affirmed Carroll's "A3" bond rating and stable outlook. The system maintains a good balance sheet with 195 days cash on hand as of June 30, 2013, according to Moody's. It also achieved a 12.2 percent operating cash flow margin in unaudited fiscal year 2013.
Mr. Kelbly joined the system in 1990 as vice president of finance. Previously, he was controller of Montgomery General Hospital in Olney, Md. He received a bachelor's degree in business administration from the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Va., and he earned his master's in administrative science from The Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore.
