Sally Jeffcoat is the president and CEO of Saint Alphonsus Health System, a four-hospital system based in Boise, Idaho.
Ms. Jeffcoat joined Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise in 2009, and then spearheaded the integration of three other hospitals to create the new system in 2010. Saint Alphonsus Health System is part of Trinity Health in Livonia, Mich.
Prior to joining Saint Alphonsus, Ms. Jeffcoat was the executive vice president and COO of healthcare operations at Ascension Health in St. Louis.
In her first year at Saint Alphonsus, Ms. Jeffcoat built a health system from scratch that now serves 700,000 patients in Idaho and Oregon. Ms Jeffcoat has said her success and the success of the system would not be possible without her team around her. "A cornerstone of effective leadership is to have decision makers and leaders in place who share the values and mission of an organization," she said in a release.
