Marshfield (Wis.) Clinic Health System is outsourcing some of its health information management jobs at health centers across the state through a partnership with Ciox, according to local news station WAOW.
The health system said 46 employees will be affected by the outsourcing. However, Marshfield Clinic said those employees have the opportunity to apply for roles within Ciox.
Marshfield Clinic is also welcoming the affected employees to apply for other jobs within the health system.
“As a growing health system, it’s our responsibility to introduce new ways to be more efficient and enhance the patient experience. Partnering with Ciox allows us to create a consistent, streamlined process for the flow of patient information requests through our health system that serves 328,000 patients across more than 50 locations, including seven hospitals,” said Marshfield Clinic in a statement to WAOW.
