EHR adoption is at an all-time high, and practices and hospitals that have yet to implement an EHR platform have a number of vendors to select from.
The ONC has released an application that allows users to view the percent of hospitals participating in meaningful use programs that are using a vendor's product in each state.
The data collected and used in the app only comes from Medicare EHR Incentive Program data.
Here are the states in which EHR vendors are most popular.
Allscripts: Connecticut (21 percent of hospitals participating in meaningful use in this state are using the vendor's product)
Cerner: Maryland (67 percent)
CPSI: Kansas (28 percent)
Epic: Minnesota (55 percent)
Iatric Systems: Massachusetts (24 percent)
McKesson: Delaware (40 percent)
MEDITECH: Massachusetts (60 percent)
