Vocera Communications, a San Jose, Calif.-based communications systems company, will highlight its care coordination and integrated communication capabilities at the HIMSS15 Annual Conference & Exhibition in Chicago.
The company announced plans to focus on technologies to close the gaps in care coordination and deep system integration to improve communication and collaboration. The company will also demonstrate its Secure Texting application that allows providers to communicate via HIPAA-compliant text message, according to a news release.
Vocera has recently announced a partnership in two-way integration for better communication in hospitals' EHR systems with Epic, the Verona, Wisc.-based health IT vendor, and with the University of Chicago's medical branch.
