Virginia Mason, a Seattle-based health system, expanded its partnership with Emmi, a patient engagement technology provider.
Virginia Mason will use Emmi's platform to collect patient reported outcomes surveys. The health system will integrate PRO collection into its existing engagement strategy, which already uses Emmi's services to connect with patients for procedure preparation and transition of care.
Emmi's PRO survey feature integrates within the Virginia Mason EMR, to deliver timely outcomes data to the provider. Virginia Mason will use this data to address CMS requirements and to personalize future patient outreach.
