The U.S. Army is considering using mobile technologies such as the iPad, iPhone and Android smartphones for soldiers' medical records in combat zones, according to a Federal Times report.
The army currently uses Motorola hand-held devices to document medical care in combat zones. Newer technologies, which may be approved for army use by December, would provide more storage space and features that describe drug interactions.
