U of Vermont Health Network, Philips sign 10-year partnership

Burlington-based University of Vermont Health Network and Philips have agreed to a 10-year partnership to improve patient care.

Per the agreement, Philips will provide the UVM Health Network with imaging systems, ultrasounds, patient monitoring tools and clinical informatics. Additionally, UVM Health Network will leverage Philips' comprehensive clinical and business solutions and consulting services.

UVM Health Network comprises six hospitals in Vermont and New York. The university has partnered with Philips in the past.

With Philips, UVM Health Network will be able to create a more consistent patient experience and predictable costs.
