Sacramento, Calif.-based Sutter Health joined forces with Quartet, a New York City-based healthcare software startup, to bring integrated behavioral healthcare to its patients.
Quartet identifies patients with underlying mental health conditions and enables primary care physicians to connect those patients to local behavioral healthcare specialists. The platform also facilitates communication between primary care physicians and behavioral healthcare specialists to develop collaborative care plans.
"Primary care doctors are the front door to healthcare, and we always want to be in the best position to support our patients, no matter what their questions or concerns [are]," said Michael Conroy, MD, CMO of Sutter Medical Group. "Having quick, convenient access to trusted resources for specialized care like mental health gives us and our patients great comfort and confidence."
Sutter Medical Foundation and Sutter Medical Group will pilot Quartet's platform in the Roseville, Calif, area., marking Quartet's entrance into the California market.
