A computer was stolen from a procedure room at Riverside County Regional Medical Center in Moreno Valley, Calif., compromising the protected health information of 563 patients, according to a KESQ report.
Information on the laptop included names, birth dates, medical record numbers and electromyogram test results, according to the report.
Investigators are reviewing surveillance tapes to try to identify parties involved with the burglary.
