SoutheastHEALTH in Cape Girardeau, Mo., and Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston are forming a company called Servir to build and manage a common data center, according to a Southeast Missourian report.
The two hospitals are partnering to meet electronic medical records requirements. The center is scheduled to be completed in December and will include information systems technology for both hospitals. The center will also be able to serve IT needs of other hospitals, physicians and clinics in the region, according to the report.
