Southeastern Health, a nonprofit hospital system based in Lumberton, North Carolina, announced that it has chosen eClinicalWorks Care Coordination Medical Record for population health.
Southeastern Health, which is designated as Magnet organization by the American Nurses Credentialing Center, serves approximately 16,000 inpatient and 68,000 emergency patients annually. The CCMR will provide an updated way to track patient health on a wider scale.
The platform provides "dashboards" that visualize health data by zip code and region and analyze local health trends versus national trends. It also connects ambulatory EMRs with hospital inpatient systems and payer claim feeds. Referrals can be made straight from the system and will alert the provider if the referral is out of network.
CCMR is also EMR neutral, and it can exchange health records with any system used in the health community.
eClinicalWorks is a privately held health technology company that brought in approximately $290 million in 2013 revenues.
