Sidney (Mont.) Health Center is scheduled to launch its Epic electronic health record system on Sunday.
The health center has partnered with Fargo, N.D.-based Sanford Health to provide the EHR, though Sidney Health Center will continue to remain autonomous, according to a hospital news release.
"Implementing a software system of this magnitude in a rural healthcare setting would not be feasible without a coordinated effort, said Rick Haraldson, Sidney Health Center CEO, in the news release.
The EHR is planned to go live at 12 a.m. on Sunday, June 1.
