Scriptor Software has signed a three-year, non-exclusive licensing agreement with vRad.
The agreement focuses on Scriptor's rScriptor, a dictation software plug-in designed to create structured reports for radiologists.
vRad interprets more than 5 million patient studies each year for its more than 2,100 hospitals, health system and radiology group clients.
"Automating the creation of structured reports allows our radiologists to maintain 'eyes on the images' so they can focus more of their time on helping referring physicians and adding value," said Benjamin W. Strong, MD (ABR, ABIM), vRad's CMO.
