Healthcare Access San Antonio has become the first health information exchange in the state and the fourth in the country to receive full accreditation from the Electronic Healthcare Network Accreditation Commission.
"By achieving accreditation, HASA has proven its commitment to the highest standards in privacy, security, confidentiality and sustainability in health information exchange, and we commend them on such a considerable accomplishment," said Lee Barrett, executive director of EHNAC, in a news release.
HASA serves providers in 22 counties in south-central Texas.
