"A new conversation around health is about to begin."
So reads the invitations Samsung recently sent out for a May 28 event in San Francisco, at which the company is expected to divulge the next steps in its mHealth strategy, according to Engadget.
Samsung has experimented with wearables (the fitness-tracking Gear Fit) and with health-tracking apps like S Health. No details have been released about the products or strategies that will be presented at the May event, but Endgadget reports the invitation came from Samsung's Semiconductor division, hinting the event will focus on sensors or similar technology.
The Samsung event is scheduled for one week before Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference, suggesting Samsung wants to introduce their mHealth product before Apple.
