Salesforce rolled out new artificial intelligence tools for its healthcare cloud platform to help providers better manage patient engagement and scheduling, the company said June 9.
Salesforce's new Intelligent Appointment Management for Health Cloud connects with EHRs and uses AI to search for and book appointments for patients with their preferred providers. The tool also guides schedulers through any previsit questionnaires the patient must complete.
The company's new AI-powered research assistant Einstein Relationship Insights can autonomously explore the internet and internal data sources to find insights about customers. For healthcare organizations, ERI can act as a virtual assistant and search news articles, social media and email sources to locate account and contact information.
