Kansas City, Mo.-based Saint Luke's Health System has selected McKesson's Strategic Supply sourcing solution and value analysis suite.
McKesson's cloud-based product allows users to search catalog items and identify lower cost and substitutable products, while also validating contract prices and handling backorders.
Saint Luke's will deploy McKesson's solution across its 10 hospitals and numerous clinics, physician offices and other non-acute care locations.
"As we expand our health system, we are transforming our overall supply chain performance through automation of managing contracts and directing value analysis," said Michael D. Darling, RN, vice president of supply chain at Saint Luke's Health System.
