Data-driven innovations are projected to contribute hundreds of billions of dollars to the U.S. economy in the coming years, according to an analysis by the Center for Data Innovation.
The data-policy think tank ranked states on 25 indicators related to data innovation. The indicators assess states' strengths across three categories — data availability, technology platforms and human-business capital.
Here are the five states leading data analytics efforts.

4. California
5. Delaware
