Almost one-fifth (19 percent) of smartphone owners have at least one health app on their phone, according to Pew Research Center report.
The results come from a national telephone survey of 3,014 adults living in the United States.
The results also showed that 52 percent of smartphone owners gather health information on their phone, and 17 percent use their phone to look for health advice.
