Royal Philips opened its first innovation center in Russia, located in the Moscow-based Skolkovo Innovation Center, June 7.
The center, which is part of Philips' global research organization, will bring together scientists to apply artificial intelligence, computer science and data analytics capabilities to health technology. Philips is particularly interested in leveraging predictive analytics for patients in acute-care settings and large-scale data analysis for healthcare system efficiency.
The center will also offer internship programs for graduate and postgraduate students at universities across Russia.
