Technology company Peraton was awarded a 10-year contract of up to $2 billion to serve as the enterprise information technology services integrator for the Defense Health Agency's Military Health System.
Under the contract terms, Peraton is responsible for managing the Defense Health Agency's IT transformation services in a way that cuts costs. The contract was awarded to Perspecta Enterprise Solutions; Perspecta is a subsidiary of Peraton, according to the Aug. 10 news release.
