New Hyde Park, N.Y.-based Northwell Health is implementing the CliniShift healthcare staffing and schedule management platform.
CliniShift worked with Northwell Health IT employees to help install the system. The CliniShift platform delivers an 84 percent uptake in internal shift requests, and 80 percent of shifts were accepted under 30 minutes, according to the Sept. 26 Northwell news release provided to Becker's.
CliniShift is a Dublin, Ireland-based company. The partnership between CliniShift and Northwell arose through a partnership between Northwell and Enterprise Ireland, the Irish government's innovation agency.
"Our unique scheduling software comes at a critical time for healthcare systems globally to efficiently optimize internal staff scheduling, for clinical and non-clinical staff. CliniShift provides a real-time digital communication platform to manage the entire staff scheduling process and has proven to ensure hospitals have sufficient staff levels, reducing missed shifts and gaps in rosters," CliniShift President and CEO Aimée Madden said.
