The National Institutes of Health awarded Leidos three task orders directed toward IT solutions in a contract valued at $45 million.
Under the agreement, Leidos will provide IT in support of the Information Technology and Applications Center within the National Heart Lung Blood Institutes.
The ITAC directs and implements business, research and clinical informatics program to support biomedical research within the NHLBI. Leidos has been a partner to the institute since 2012.
"We are committed to supporting NHLBI's mission to enhance the health of all individuals to lead longer, more fulfilling lives through research discoveries, education, and training," said Leidos Group President Jon Scholl. "We look forward to applying our software development expertise to continue to provide system support of NHLBI's software applications to all internal stakeholders, staff from NIH institutes and centers, external partners, and the general public."
