As National Health IT winds down, a reception last night sponsored by Health IT Now celebrated the week's events and underscored the importance of technological innovation in healthcare. The reception also featured remarks by Rep. Devin Nunes (R-Calif.), who recently introduced a bill that would allow physicians to provide telehealth services across state lines without requiring licensure in multiple states.
This National Health IT Week will be the last for outgoing National Coordinator for Health IT, Farzad Mostashari, MD. The Wisconsin Health Information Technology Extension Center celebrated his tenure with a 10-bowtie salute.
