NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital inks 10-year informatics contract with Philips

NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital in New York City signed a 10-year agreement with Philips to implement the health technology vendor's full suite of clinical informatics tools.

Under the agreement, NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital will implement Philips IntelliSpace Enterprise Edition across its facilities. The solutions suite includes informatics tools for radiology, cardiology and analytics.

"Health systems are faced with an abundance of data across multiple systems, which makes it difficult to extract meaningful information for actionable decisions across the patient population," said Carla Kriwet, PhD, CEO of connected care and health informatics at Philips.

The clinical and operational informatics tools are meant to help NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital's staff improve workflow efficiencies and quality of care, such as enabling clinicians to access patient data and images across the health system's campuses.
