Mount St. Mary's Hospital and Health Center in Lewiston, N.Y., has partnered with BlueCross BlueShield of Western New York and St. Louis-based Ascension Health to develop a telehealth group medical practice, according to a Mount St. Mary's news release.
Mount St. Mary's will be the first in the country to create a telehealth practice using the "Online Care" platform. The practice will allow patients to communicate with providers in real time and schedule online appointments.
The Online Care practice will begin offering services this summer.
