New Missouri Law Requires Insurers to Cover Telehealth

A new law in Missouri requires insurers to cover telehealth services, according to a Kansas City Business Journal report.

The law states that any service covered in an in-person visit must be covered if that same service is rendered remotely, and at the same co-pay, according to the report.

The new requirements go into effect at the start of next year, according to the report.
