Farzad Mostashari, MD, head of the Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT, will resign this fall.
"I will miss the amazingly dedicated and hardworking professionals @HHSGov," said Dr. Mostashari on his Twitter account. "Finding and nurturing a culture of innovation within public service has been rewarding."
Dr. Mostashari's replacement has not yet been named.
