Mississippi House Approves Legislation to Encourage Telemedicine

Mississippi's House of Representatives has approved legislation that will encourage more telemedicine programs, according to a report by The Commercial Appeal.

The legislation allows insurance companies to pay physicians who consult with rural doctors via telemedicine programs.

The legislation was sent to the Senate for consideration, according to the report.
