Microsoft and the healthcare solutions provider Indegene joined forces to create new commercial cloud applications for the life sciences sector.
The collaboration will bring together Microsoft's "Dynamics 365 for Sales" customer engagement services with Indegene's "Omnipresence" platform to create a customer-relationship management solution. The service will help sales and medical representatives engage healthcare practitioners.
The solution will include a conversational interface that uses voice-recognition technology and will integrate analytics into daily tasks and workflows, so representatives have access to data-driven recommendations.
Microsoft and Indegene expect these cloud services to be available by July.
