Microsoft will offer a big data analytics platform from Wipro — an information technology, consulting and business process services company — on Azure, Microsoft's cloud computing platform, reports MeriTalk.
Wipro's Data Discovery Platform will be available as an Analytics-as-a-Service platform via an outcome-based "pay-per-insight" cloud delivery model on Azure. The service, which leverages Microsoft's Cortana Intelligence Suite, aims to simply business processes to gather actionable insights from available data.
Wipro and Microsoft collaborated on all parts of the solution, from engineering to market strategy.
